I have so many lovely memories with my Grandad that it's hard to know where to start. I loved listening to all his stories, we had some amazing times, and there were so many times we laughed together at Grandad's unique quirks.
I had some amazing times in Grandad's garden, I remember playing croquet on his lawn, helping him get the damsons off of his shed roof, playing basket ball on his patio, picking tomatoes from his greenhouse, and laughing when he told me weeing on them was good for them!
I loved hearing all your stories from your life, such as when you cycled all the way to Devon and your Aunt had to send a telegram back to your worried Mum!
You always made me laugh with your excentricities, such as putting empty milk cartons in the fridge to stop the cold air falling out, boiling up nettles from your garden for your dinner and drinking your wine in an indestructable glass mug in front of your boiler.
Even the very last time I saw Grandad he had me giggling when he asked if my coffee was a gin!
I'm so glad Grandad got to meet my husband Alex and both my children Oscar and Maisie, I will tell them so many stories about him as they grow up.
I will miss my Grandad so much - he really was the most unique, kind and funny man. Love you forever!
